Life-Saver Walk Hunt 2010

DSCN1750-as

As planned, the four of us arrived at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa at 7.30am and register ourselves at one of the booth where En. Zahrol, the Coc was standing. I am pretty sure that most of the participants have not yet arrived, judging from the short queue and also several boxes that are still sealed.

At 8.00 am, En. Zahrol make a quick briefing to all participants. While my team mate enjoys the morning sunshine, I noticed some of the familiar faces of seasoned hunters taking part in this hunt. I also notice Michael Pang, too. Maybe he will be covering this hunt event and posted on his blog, as usual.

The first part of the hunt involves answering 20 questions related to Pusat Sumber Transplant Nasional. The second part involves answering 15 questions whereby 10 questions can be answered directly by looking at several signages while the last 5 questions are cryptic questions.

4 out of 5 cryptic questions were easily cracked and spotted except for Question No. 4. “Pi, sounds like eye eye”. Who could have guessed that the answers would be “P3”, in which the answers can be spotted at the old Shell petrol kiosk? Aiyoh, how come I never realized that. Haha, nevermind…

Even though our team did not win, I personally believe that it was a good experience for our first timer team mate, Sakina @ Ckin. So far, she enjoys the hunt very much and always resourceful, giving out several possible answers even though I know the answers are wrong. But it’s good to have a “walking dictionary”, hehe…

Overall, it was a good outing for the four of us and honestly, I am proud with our team performance. Hopefully I can encourage more newbie and wannabe to join in our big family for the next treasure hunt event. I hope…

Johnson & Johnson Amazing Explore Hunt 2010

This entry was previously posted on June 2010 on my old blogdrive.com. Too bad it's gone.. And now it's here again! After my short Gawai holiday, I managed to team up once again with Kak Sue, Azham & Eija for this Amazing Explore Hunt. What's so amazing about it? Well, for a start, one of us have to climb the KL Tower by stairs (not elevators) to reach the top and look out for the answers. Secondly, we got to play "shoot out penalty" and golf. Too bad we couldn't play the paintball challenge. The last challenge is to remember the exact position of a jigsaw puzzle. On top of that, there are two bonus challenges whereby we must find a "guli" (marble) in a tank full of snakes and also transfer the worm from one plate to another using our mouth. Yucks!! Too bad, our camera girl couldn't take many photo of this event since all of us are too busy solving questions and doing challenges. And we didn't win either. To be honest, this hunt is not t

Simple Optical Illusion

Guys, what do you see in this picture? No idea? Seriously, I will 'hentam' (hit) your head one by one, haha. Joking only maa.. Anyway, this picture is shown during my short one day 'Kursus Kecemerlangan Khidmat Pelanggan dan Pengurusan Aduan' in HQ. While I was waiting to register my name on the attendance list, the facilitator ask the audiences what do they see in this picture? Most of the audiences answers the usual 'what you see is what you get' (WYSIWYG) answers. Such answers include, "There's a couple standing, there is a tree, there is a sea, etc..." (Aiseh, c'mon la guys, think deeper!!). Anyway, you too could figure it out the answers easily without 'google' the internet. Very 'kacang one' (piece of cake) optical illusions to play on your work mates during lunch hour, haha..

Mega Sale Beginners Motor Hunt 2010

Date: 24th July 2010 COC: The Trailblazers In conjuction with the Mid Year Mega Sale 2010, Tropicana City Mall has engaged the Trailblazers to organize a treasure hunt event for beginners. So, as usual I spread the news to my teammates and all of them agree to participate eventhough we have just gone hunting last month (Johnson & Johnson Amazing Explore Hunt 2010) This time around there is no newcomer that wanted to join us due to many unlogical reasons, some says we will not win, waste of money, very hot weather blah..blah..blah.. Despite all this, it does not hamper our moral to actively involved in this type of activities. I always believe that no matter what the outcome is, experience is the most important thing to gain. There are a lot of things we need to learn to polish our skills so that in the next hunt event we are more prepared. At 7.00am, we all arrived at Tropicana City Mall to register ourselves. Sticking to our previous position, Azham will continue to play wit
